Job Description

Team Lead with Manufacturing experience. Pay is $19/hour. 6am to 2:30pm with OT and occasional Saturdays (every other Sat for 4 to 6 hours) No Sundays. Will work in the repack area must be a hands on manager that is confident and knows how to motivate in a positive way. Could grow into a Supervisor role down the road as the company is growing. Must pay attention to detail. Work with BMW and Mercedes so the product must be perfect for the customer.

 

Assists with providing leadership over the Materials and Production areas including personnel and

processes, and records.

 

Guides, trains and directs Material and Production hourly employee(s).

 

Assists with leading the problem-solving process (e.g., CI).

 

Ensures all departmental employees have been given the necessary tools to perform duties, i.e. personal

protective equipment, small tools etc.

 

Operate assigned mobile equipment, including fork trucks safely and with due consideration to

pedestrians. Perform inspections/maintenance of assigned mobile equipment as required.

 

Ensure that all materials and finished goods are stored and labeled with proper documentation.

 

Prepare finished goods for shipment including packing/re-packing, labeling product, and printing

supporting documentation.

 

Perform the Advanced Shipping Notice. (ASN) for all customers.

 

Load and unload finished goods, dunnage, and/or component parts from inbound and outbound

trucks. Sign for received and shipped goods and check materials for accurate descriptions and

quantities per packing slips.

 

Take inventory counts as required; make sure parts/finished goods are stored in designated locations.

 

Maintain computerized shipping/receiving/materials records as required.

 

Oversees the timely deliveries and pick-ups of parts/components at outside processors.

 

Ensures all shipping and receiving records are maintained, including files for incoming and outgoing

materials and products.

 

Ensure the Dock tagging system is been following.

 

Provides training to new/existing employees within department.

 

Oversees and assists in maintaining of storage, shipping and receiving areas ensuring they are kept

clean, safe and tidy.

 

Maintains positive employee relations and addresses issues in timely manner. Seeks advice/counsel

from appropriate sources as required.

 

Report any problem or concern to the supervisor in a reasonable time period that reflects the urgency

of the problem.

 

Follow all work instructions for all assigned operations.

 

Ensure the manufacturing process is supplied with all materials required to meet production

requirements.

 

Work overtime before and/or after normal shifts and/or on weekends as assigned
