Structural Steel Fabricators Needed for established company in Livonia.

$20 - $25 an hour

First Shift: 7am-3pm

Second Shift: 3pm-11pm

Third Shift: 11pm-7am

 

• Proficient at reading blueprints.

• Proficient at complex layout and fit up of materials.

• Proficient at the identification and application of welds.

• Certified AWS D1.1 @ 1/8 to 3/4 Minimum

• Receive work order; obtain and organize materials; ensure all materials being used are accurate and in compliance with specifications and quality control program; plan job task and order of processes.

• Process and complete work order by utilizing the following shop equipment: Safely operate saws, shears, cranes, hi-lo, hammers, grinders, tape measures, and other shop equipment.

• Safely operate burning and welding equipment.

• Build fixtures and other aids for shop productivity.

• Correctly set up welding equipment with proper gas type and flow, wire speed and amperage and other shop operations.
