Job Title: Forklift Operator / General Laborer

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / General Laborer to join our team. This hybrid role includes operating forklifts and performing general labor tasks such as loading/unloading materials, maintaining a clean work area, and supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack forklifts to move materials and products

• Load and unload shipments manually and using equipment

• Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately

• Perform general labor duties such as cleaning, stacking, sorting, and organizing materials

• Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required

• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to a supervisor immediately

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Valid forklift certification/license (if required by local/state regulations)

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of forklift experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

• Basic math and reading skills

• Strong attention to detail and safety

• Willingness to perform other warehouse and general labor duties as needed

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or industrial setting

• May involve working in hot or cold environments, depending on the season
