Open boxes and put a label on the product meat. Expiration date label, brand label, etc. Cold environment 37F-40F. The associates will also perform general warehouse duties NOT ONLY LABEL. 

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers in our refrigerated warehouse. This role involves picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a temperature-controlled environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a cold setting, physically capable of handling repetitive tasks, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, count, and pack products from inventory based on daily orders.
• Product Handling: Handle perishable items carefully to avoid damage and ensure they remain within quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects or damages before packing and report any issues to supervisors.
• Labeling and Scanning: Properly label products and use scanners for inventory tracking.
• Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Temperature Compliance: Adhere to temperature regulations, ensuring proper handling of refrigerated products.
• Physical Tasks: Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 40lbs, as needed for order fulfillment.
• Safety Standards: Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment preferred, but not required.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, work in cold temperatures (approximately 32°F to 40°F), and lift heavy items.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to operate or learn basic scanning technology.
• Reliability: Strong attendance record and commitment to punctuality.
• Team Player: Positive attitude with the ability to work well with others.
