Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or job site. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring materials are stored and transported safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or pallet jack forklifts to move products and materials

• Load and unload trucks, containers, or pallets as needed

• Stack and organize products and materials in designated areas

• Inspect forklifts before each use and report any maintenance or safety issues

• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and company procedures

• Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory as required

• Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and cleaning

• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one)

• Previous experience as a forklift operator is preferred

• Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Work Environment:

• Warehouse or industrial setting

• May involve working in cold or hot environments depending on the facility

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required
