Job Title: Electrical & Mechanical Assembler
Location: Goleta, CA (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electrical & Mechanical Assembler with experience in soldering and hands-on assembly. This role involves working on high-quality acoustic sensor components including piezoelectric transducers, sonar arrays, and associated hardware. If you have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the willingness to learn, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Assembly:
  • Perform wiring and soldering tasks
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Cut and tin wires, crimp, and connect leads to components
  • Manufacture cables and wiring harnesses including co-axial, twin-axial, and fiber-optic
Mechanical Assembly:
  • Sanding, lapping, epoxy bonding, encapsulation, and chemical mixing
  • Torque components, install subassemblies, and use jigs/fixtures for alignment
  • Assemble and attach hardware such as switches, clamps, and knobs
  • Perform potting, cleaning, curing, stamping, etching, and other tasks
Quality & Inspection:
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure assembly meets specifications
  • Follow production drawings, instructions, and work orders with attention to detail
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in soldering (required)
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and verbal instructions
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Santa Barbara, CA
