Forklift Operator
Job Description

A skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator with experience in fast-paced warehouse and distribution environments. Responsible for operating industrial forklifts and related equipment to move, load, unload, and organize materials efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, or reach forklifts to move products and materials throughout the warehouse

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers

• Transport pallets to and from storage areas, staging areas, or loading docks

• Stack and organize products in designated locations following inventory and safety procedures

• Conduct equipment inspections before and after use to ensure proper functioning

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory by scanning, labeling, and tracking shipments

• Palletize and shrink-wrap products as needed for outgoing shipments

• Support shipping and receiving operations

• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Certification

• 1–3+ years of forklift operating experience

• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and inventory systems

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, and schedules

• Attention to detail and strong time management

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
