We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This role involves overseeing the production of rigid packaging products, ensuring precision, quality, and efficiency throughout the process. Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Operate and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing of rigid packaging products, including bottles, jars, and closures.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications for size, shape, and appearance.
• Material Handling: Manage raw materials, such as glass, plastic, or metal, ensuring proper inventory levels and usage.
• Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Efficiency Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production speed and reduce waste.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Record-Keeping: Document production metrics, machine settings, and quality checks in logs or computerized systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and engineers to achieve production targets and address challenges.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in rigid packaging manufacturing or a similar production environment is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery, with an understanding of materials used in rigid packaging.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision, with the ability to identify and resolve production issues.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to [30], stand or walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a factory setting.
• Problem-Solving: Skilled in diagnosing and resolving machine or production issues effectively.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Certifications: OSHA or manufacturing safety certifications are a plus.
