Dock Recorder Responsibilities • Visually oversee the quality and quantity of products being received/shipped • Complete all required paperwork for shipments and receipts per MSI Express Quality Department, Account Management, Plant Manager, and customer specifications • Inspect all inbound and outbound trailers per MSI Express Quality Department guidelines and customer specifications • Alert the Shipping & Receiving Manager when receiving or shipping any product/material considered damaged goods • Notify the Shipping & Receiving Manager of any differences between what MSI states was received vs. what a shipper states was shipped (weight or count) • Complete receiving forms for FedEx and UPS packages • Perform other lawful duties as assigned, provided the Clerk is physically capable of performing the task Requirements • Physical requirements: sufficient mobility, strength, flexibility, hearing, and sight to perform all job-relevant tasks • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to coach and educate others • Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and averages • Ability to use computer software, scanning devices, and mobile devices • Shipping and Receiving experience is a plus
