2nd Shift Manufacturing Machine Operator

Schedule: 2nd Shift
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Machine Operator to join our team on the second shift. In this role, you will operate production machinery to support manufacturing processes, ensure product quality and safety compliance, and contribute to assembly line activities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery during the 2nd shift to support manufacturing operations
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain product quality and safety standards
- Support assembly line tasks, including packaging, labeling, and supporting process flow
- Assist with machine setup, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance tasks
- Perform quality checks and document process compliance as directed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team communication
- Reach overhead and lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly
- Maintain production pace and quality standards in a fast-paced environment
- Rotate within departments as needed to support various manufacturing tasks
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 to 12 months of production experience
- Assembly line experience
- Ability to follow GMP and SOPs to ensure quality and safety
- Proficiency in packaging and labeling processes
- Basic reading and writing skills; bilingual skills preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly and reach overhead
- Flexibility to rotate within departments and work overtime
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with machine operation and basic maintenance
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing or related fields
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods
- Repetitive lifting of up to 20 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead
- Support in assembly, packaging, and machine operation in a manufacturing setting
