Overview:

In this position, you will be responsible for operating production machines—from setup and operation to cleanup—and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. With a focus on safety and quality, you'll be an integral part of our production process, ensuring excellence every step of the way!

Required Skills:

• Strong commitment to safety and the ability to adhere to company safety rules and procedures
• Detail-oriented mindset, focused on quality control and eliminating defects
• Ability to perform various tasks across different departments
• Basic housekeeping skills to maintain a tidy and hazard-free workspace
• Collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn from Machine Operators and Supervisors
• Capability to complete necessary reports accurately and in a timely manner

Nice to Have Skills:

• Previous experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting)
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)
• Basic computer skills for report generation

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Prior work experience of at least 6 months in a manufacturing setting is preferred

Other Requirements:

• Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes with little notice; we operate 24/7, which may include holidays.
• Commitment to cross-training on various machines to aid personal growth and flexibility within the plant
