Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Summary:
Responsible for manually loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials throughout the warehouse or production area. Ensures products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position does not require forklift operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually load and unload boxes, cartons, and other materials from trucks, pallets, and storage areas.
• Move materials by hand or with manual equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Sort, stage, and organize products for shipping, receiving, or production.
• Inspect materials for visible damage and report discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory organization and keep work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
