Job Title: Picking
Pay Rate: $16.86
Schedule (Days and Time): 8am-430pm
Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
• Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
• Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Picking orders as requested by management.
• Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
• Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
• Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
• Count, weigh and record number of units of materials handled on daily production sheet
• Locates and loads by hand and with non-motorized equipment customer product onto/from pallets.
• Assists in building and grounds maintenance; assists in physical inventories.
Job Requirements
•Minimum 6 months experience picking and packing in a manufacturing, or warehouse, environment.
•Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
•Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
•High School diploma or equivalent required
