Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Cold Storage)

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join the team at Vesta Foodservice. This position supports daily warehouse operations within a temperature-controlled environment, handling food products and ensuring accurate, timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in cold conditions and performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift, pull, and push boxes weighing 40–50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Load and unload food products from trucks, pallets, and conveyor systems
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment
• Organize inventory and maintain proper product rotation (FIFO when applicable)
• Ensure all products are handled in accordance with food safety and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including workstations and common areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and cold storage handling guidelines
• Work as part of a team to meet daily productivity and shipping deadlines
• Report damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Requirements:

• Must wear non-slip, closed-toe shoes at all times (required)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments (refrigerated and/or freezer conditions)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to communicate fluently (speak, read, & write) in Spanish and English.

Schedule:

• Monday through Saturday
• One variable day off during the week
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime may be required based on business needs)

Work Environment:
This position operates in a refrigerated and/or freezer warehouse environment. Proper protective clothing is recommended. Employees should be prepared for continuous physical activity and exposure to cold temperatures throughout the shift.
