Job Title: Janitorial Associate
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Reports To: Facilities Manager or Designee

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in keeping work environments clean, safe, and welcoming. This role requires early morning shifts and a consistent schedule with occasional flexibility for deep cleaning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Duties (Monday – Friday):

• Restock and maintain general cleanliness of all 11 restrooms, including:

  • Replenishing toilet paper, paper towels, and soap

  • Ensuring trash is removed and surfaces are sanitized

• Maintain cafeteria cleanliness:

  • Remove trash and wipe down counters and tables

  • Mop cafeteria floors on Monday and Wednesday

Weekly Cleaning Schedule:

• Monday (early a.m.):

  • Clean, dust, and vacuum East offices (downstairs)

  • Clean lobby and front hallway

• Tuesday (early a.m.):

  • Clean, dust, and vacuum West offices (upstairs and downstairs)

• Wednesday (early a.m.):

  • Clean, dust, and vacuum East offices (upstairs)

• Thursday (early a.m.):

  • Clean and vacuum East offices (downstairs)

  • Clean lobby and front hallway

• Friday:

  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed or requested

Qualifications:

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred

• Ability to follow a structured cleaning schedule and complete tasks independently

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Pay rate is $15.00 per hour, with potential for additional hours based on facility needs
