Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Henderson Area 
Pay Range: $25 – $30 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and material traceability across the warehouse. The successful candidate will have a hands-on role in inventory tracking, placement, analysis, and coordination with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting accurate inventory counts

• Ensuring proper location tracking in the ERP system

• Leading inventory consolidation efforts

• Executing proactive cycle counting routines

• Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies

Essential Job Functions:

• Material Management:
  Accurately code and bin locate all materials in the ERP system in alignment with their physical warehouse locations. Unlocated inventory is considered lost and unacceptable.

• Strategic Bin Location:
  Maintain efficient and logical bin layouts to support faster, more accurate picking. Ensure visual and system separation of similar items to reduce errors.

• Inventory Analysis & Cycle Counts:
  Perform cycle counts as per schedule. Investigate and resolve variances, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend process improvements.

• Cross-Department Communication:
  Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Central Inventory Control to ensure effective material flow and inventory alignment.

• Other Duties:
  Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned and be available for required overtime.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience in inventory control

• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

• Familiarity with electrical supply product lines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the P21 ERP system

• Prior experience in the electrical distribution industry

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  Minimum 3 years in distribution, logistics, inventory control, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:
  Comfortable using ERP systems and inventory management software (P21 preferred).

• Analytical Thinking:
  Ability to make data-driven decisions and effectively troubleshoot inventory issues.

• Communication:
  Strong verbal and written communication skills across all departments.

• Adaptability & Safety:
  Flexible in a dynamic warehouse environment and dedicated to maintaining safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/pull up to 30 lbs frequently.

• Perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, climbing, bending, twisting, and reaching.

• Walk on concrete or uneven surfaces and operate forklifts and wire-cutting machinery.

• Manual dexterity and coordination required for 50% or more of the time.

Working Conditions:

• Work is conducted in an office and warehouse setting.

• Exposure to dust, temperature fluctuations, and seasonal environmental changes.
