About the Role:
As a Magnet Adjuster in our Quality Department, you’ll be responsible for adjusting magnets to precise strength levels that meet customer specifications. This hands-on role involves interpreting technical drawings, setting up and operating specialized equipment, and working closely with our production team to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure safety by wearing PPE and following all safety procedures.
Interpret customer drawings and ensure specs align with manufacturing routers.
Calibrate and set up test and adjustment equipment (meters, probes, coils, etc.).
Operate equipment including adjusting stations, laser etchers, plotting and uniformity stations.
Adjust solids and rings using the Lakeshore Flux Meter.
Record accurate data into the ERP system and routers.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and request restock of materials as needed.
Follow all company procedures and the escalation policy.
Qualifications:
Experience in precision work, magnet adjustment, or a similar technical field preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications.
High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Comfortable using technical equipment and working in a production environment.
