Job Title: Mechanical Tradesperson

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, metal structures, and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have broad expertise in multiple mechanical trades, including welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, machinery assembly, and general maintenance. This role demands strong technical abilities, a commitment to safety, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and modify metal components and structures using welding and cutting tools.

• Assemble piping systems, supports, tanks, and frames based on drawings and specifications.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective actions to maintain smooth operations.

• Operate hand and power tools, lifting equipment, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

• Adhere to company safety protocols and industry regulations.

• Assist in shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning projects as needed.

Requirements:

Training & Experience:

• Proven experience in an industrial or heavy mechanical setting.

• Strong proficiency in welding (MIG/TIG/Stick), metal fabrication, and mechanical assembly.

• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights (relevant certifications are a plus).

• Forklift, Elevated Work Platform (EWP), rigging, or crane licenses are preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a maintenance technician.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Languages:

• English: Mandatory.

• Spanish: Preferred.

Additional Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work in varying shifts.
