This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, packaging, inventory control, and material handling. Job Description
- Receive incoming products: unload, inspect, prepare, and store materials properly.
- Pick, package, palletize, and prepare outgoing shipments according to company procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, banding tools, and RF scanners.
- Report any damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and return all equipment to proper storage locations daily.
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures and attend required safety meetings.
- Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Report any workplace injuries or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug test and background check).
- Proficient with at least one piece of material-handling equipment (MHE).
- Experience using a powered pallet jack.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Ability to use a handheld RF scanner and navigate multiple screens.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 months of experience as a Warehouse Associate I (or equivalent experience).
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, solid work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Planning and Organizing: Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Communication: Clear and professional interaction with team members and supervisors.
- Safety Commitment: Consistently follows and promotes all safety guidelines.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching above shoulder level.
- Ability to handle warehouse materials and operate standard warehouse equipment safely.
