3Rd Shift Quality Inspector
We are seeking a meticulous and committed 3rd Shift Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing production team. This vital role ensures that every product meets our stringent quality standards, safeguarding the integrity and safety of our offerings. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with quality specifications.
- Perform visual and physical examinations along production lines to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations.
- Review and approve product samples prior to full-scale production to prevent quality issues.
- Collaborate closely with production personnel to promptly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor ongoing manufacturing processes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and quality regulations.
- Accurately document inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions using detailed reports.
- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at elevating manufacturing standards.
- Maintain calibration and proper function of inspection equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy.
- Support the onboarding and training of new QC team members, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Assist in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality control or manufacturing are advantageous.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a QC Inspector within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards, industry testing methods, and inspection techniques.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed specifications.
- Skilled in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- Effective communicator with both written and verbal skills.
- Adept at problem-solving and capable of working independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic knowledge of industry safety regulations and standards.
