Job Description
All Distribution Center (DC) personnel are a key aspect in our distribution operations and activities. For the Replenishment Team you will replenish the picking bins based on task priority, pick large quantities for order pickers, be active in inventory control and continually support an organized facility. You may also be assigned a specific role which will be your priority. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
• Accept Replens tasks based on priority or your assigned role.
• If assigned a specific role, that is your initial priority, unless otherwise instructed.
• Replenishment pulls must be done by the row, not column – NO CHERRY PICKING.
• Remove empty cartons when necessary from picking bins.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any inventory count discrepancies between the location and the system.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and conduct safety/maintenance requirements as needed on warehouse forklifts and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
Requirements
• Proven working experience as a DC/Warehouse worker.
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy cartons up to 35 lbs.
• Fluent in English. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Current forklift license (optional).
