Forklift Safety Officer
Local Food Manufacturer in Fresno is now hiring for a Forklift Safety Officer!
Pay Rate: $20-25 depending on experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday Over time may be required.
Duties may include but not limited to the following:
Conduct daily and weekly forklift safety inspections
Ensure forklift operators complete pre- and post-operation checklists
Monitor forklift operations and address unsafe behaviors
Support and/or lead forklift safety training
Maintain safety records, inspection logs, and operator certifications
Assist with forklift-related incident and near-miss investigations
Coordinate with maintenance for forklift repairs and servicing
Promote a strong safety culture on the production floor
Requirements:
1–2 years of forklift experience
General occupational safety experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and hazard awareness
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Knowledge of OSHA and forklift safety standards
