Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor – Night Shift
Location: Citrus Packing House in Fowler
Shift: Night Shift (hours may vary based on production schedule)

Position Summary:
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all nightly sanitation activities in the citrus packing facility. This role ensures that equipment, production areas, and common spaces are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet food safety, quality, and company standards. The supervisor leads the sanitation crew, assigns tasks, and verifies completion before the next production shift. Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication is required to effectively manage and support the sanitation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the night sanitation crew.

• Assign daily cleaning tasks and ensure all areas are properly sanitized.

• Inspect equipment, production lines, floors, walls, and work areas for cleanliness.

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, GMPs, and company policies.

• Monitor proper use of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.

• Train new sanitation employees on safety and cleaning protocols.

• Complete sanitation logs, reports, and documentation.

• Communicate any maintenance or safety issues to management.

• Ensure all PPE and safety procedures are followed.

• Prepare the facility for the next day’s production.

Qualifications:

• Previous sanitation or supervisory experience in a food processing or packing facility preferred.

• Knowledge of food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, etc.) is a plus.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

• Ability to lead a team and work independently.

• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

• Basic math and recordkeeping skills.

• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in wet, cold, or humid environments.

• Ability to work around cleaning chemicals and equipment.
