Job Overview
Partners Personnel is seeking a safety-orientated and motivated individual to join our team as a Forklift Safety Officer. The position will be responsible for providing forklift specific safety leadership, training and development, ensure facility and forklift compliance, ensure forklift safety policies and procedures are implemented, and ensure overall forklift safety.

Shift: Day shift
Payrate: $20 DOE

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily & Weekly Inspections
  • Ensure pre-operation post operation checklists are being completed on all forklifts by operators.
  • Use standardized inspection checklists and escalate non-compliance or mechanical issues.
  • Send daily recap emails at the end of each shift, summarizing observations, actions taken, and any safety concerns addressed.

• Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure operations comply with safety policies.
  • Maintain inspection logs, repairs requests, driver profiles and operator certifications for audit readiness.

• Training & Safety Enforcement
  • Support or lead forklift operator safety training sessions.
  • Monitor operator behavior and enforce corrective actions for unsafe practices.
  • Report all violations for disciplinary action, while also addressing violations with operators.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance safety protocols and enhance safety culture within the workplace.

• Incident Investigation
  • Participate in investigations involving forklift-related incidents or near misses.
  • Recommend preventive measures and contribute to safety improvement plans.
• Equipment Oversight
  • Verify forklifts are properly maintained, labeled, and stored.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and servicing.

• Must have 1-2 years of forklift experience
