The Clerical Assistant provides general administrative and office support to ensure efficient operation of the department or organization. This role involves a variety of tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phones, and handling routine correspondence.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases

Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a professional manner

File, organize, and maintain paper and electronic documents

Prepare and process documents such as memos, reports, and forms

Greet visitors and assist with general inquiries

Schedule appointments and meetings as needed

Assist in mailing, photocopying, and scanning documents

Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

Support other administrative staff as needed
Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus

Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer use

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
