The Clerical Assistant provides general administrative and office support to ensure efficient operation of the department or organization. This role involves a variety of tasks such as data entry, filing, answering phones, and handling routine correspondence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a professional manner

  • File, organize, and maintain paper and electronic documents

  • Prepare and process documents such as memos, reports, and forms

  • Greet visitors and assist with general inquiries

  • Schedule appointments and meetings as needed

  • Assist in mailing, photocopying, and scanning documents

  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary

  • Support other administrative staff as needed


Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in office administration is a plus

  • Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer use

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information

  • Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision
