Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Carson, CA
Shift: 1st Shift (typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay: $18.20 per hour

Position Overview:
The Material Handler will be responsible for moving, organizing, and storing materials and products in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. This role plays a key part in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and that products are handled with care and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently move materials and products to designated locations within the warehouse.

• Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually as needed.

• Ensure accurate inventory management by labeling and organizing stock, and conducting regular cycle counts.

• Inspect incoming materials for damage and report any issues to supervisors.

• Assist with order picking, packaging, and staging materials for shipment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.

• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience is preferred but not required.

• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (training available if needed).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if required.
