Job Title: Production Associate

Location: Aurora, IL
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2 PM – 10 PM
Compensation: $18.50 per hour

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate! In this critical role, you'll play an essential part in preparing outgoing metered mail, ensuring accuracy with postage, dates, and high-quality barcodes for seamless production. Your keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills will be vital as you communicate any errors, recognize faulty barcodes, and troubleshoot mail jams on our machines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare outgoing metered mail by verifying postage, dates, and barcode quality.
• Proactively identify and communicate errors in mail processing.
• Troubleshoot issues related to mail jams and remove obstructions from machines.
• Perform additional duties as required to maintain efficient production flow.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of English to effectively follow safety protocols and operational instructions, regardless of your native language.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, often with little or no advance notice.
• Dependable and reliable work ethic; punctuality is key to our team success.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• Capability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for approximately 80% of your shift with or without accommodations.
