Job Summary – (11:30am - 8:30pm  2nd shift )

Core Responsibilities

A warehouse supervisor oversees and ensures the smooth operation of warehouse functions, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, and staffing. In a vending machine context, this would specifically involve managing the storage and preparation of products (snacks, drinks, parts) that are loaded onto routes and delivered to vending locations. Typical duties include:

Operations & Inventory

• Oversee daily warehouse operations — receiving, storage, picking, preparation for delivery, and shipping of products.

• Ensure accurate inventory management and physical counts to prevent shortages/overages.

• Organize warehouse space for efficient product flow and adequate stock rotation (e.g., FIFO).

Supervision & Team Leadership

• Lead, train, schedule, and coach warehouse staff or associates.

• Conduct performance reviews, manage workload distribution, and support onboarding of new employees.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain safe working conditions and ensure compliance with safety policies (OSHA standards, equipment operation rules).

• Ensure equipment like forklifts, shelving, and picking tools are used properly and safely.

Coordination & Communication

• Work with route drivers/field operations teams to ensure product needs and schedules are met.

• Communicate with sales, planning, or supply chain teams about inventory levels and dispatch schedules.
