Now hiring Slitter Machine Operators. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter who is a critical thinker and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Title: Slitter Machine Operator
Pay rate: $17.00
Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) + OT as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate slitting machines including set-up, operation, and change over.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety protocols.
• Monitor machine status and communicate issues to Supervisor in a timely manner.
• Perform routine Quality Control Checks.
• Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
• Perform daily audits and accountable for quality. 
• Machine troubleshooting and routine cleaning/maintenance. 

• Previous production/manufacturing experience required
• Previous slitter or converting experience preferred but not required
• Experience using and troubleshooting PLC-operated machines a plus
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have a good command of the English language
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Moderate physical exertion caused by repetitive handling of thermal ribbons: standing, stooping, bending, reaching.
• Must possess positive interpersonal skills to perform effectively in a team environment
• Must possess ability to work at a rapid pace.
• Ability to understand, follow, and apply operational and technical instruction, written and verbal
• Ability to solve basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division)
• All candidates are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and background check as a condition of employment.
